Password- and PIN-Safe Now store your passwords, ID-codes and PINs at a central place.
Without much effort and training input you can now store sensitive
data in the WINSWEEP-Safe secured with 256-bit AES-encoding. The safe
can administer several users.
Each user must secure his data with a master-password. The password
should be at least 6 characters long and ideally consist of random
combinations of letters and digits. When you start the program for the first time start with creating
a user. Memorize the master-password well. Please note while entering
the password to consider upper-/lower-case sensitivity! Now you can deposit unlimited ID-codes and passwords or PINs in the
safe. While entering, the data will be directly stored and encoded.
In case the safe is not used for 5 minutes it will be closed
automatically. The safe disposes over a auto-login-function for internet pagers.
For this, enter the url of internet page to be started in the input
field <URL>. For this internet page you have to enter your user
name or your user ID in the input fields
<User> and <Password>. Of course, the password for this
internet page should not be missing. To enable the auto-login you
still have to tell the safe in which input fields of the internet
page to be started, the safe has to enter the user name and the
password. You have to enter this information after the user name and
the password, separated by semicolon. If you have for instance the user
name Hans and the password 12345 and enter as input fields on the
internet page the names user and password, you have to enter in the
safe: Hans;id=user and 12345;pwd=password. Once you have performed
these entries, you can start the internet page by clicking on the
label <URL> in the safe. The safe opens the internet page,
enters the access data automatically without keyboard entry on the
internet page and confirms if available the SUBMIT-element on the
internet page. That way you save time and nerves, especially if you have to log
yourself in frequently on internet pages.
Please note that the auto-login only works if you use the
Internet Explorer as standard browser. |
